Ironically, the city of hella haters showed nothing but love to hometown outfit, L.E.P. Bogus Boys and Gucci Mane yesterday during their video shoot for “Handlin’ My Business”. The day began at a hangar in Schaumburg Airport and then to the projects in the Village. Afterward, Mooine, Count, and Gucci took their act to Central Ave. and Madison St. on Chicago’s Westside. Look out for Don’t Feed The Killaz Vol.3 coming October 31st.- RR

When I first heard Playboy Tre it was on a track off SMKA: The 808 Expieriment Vol.2 mixtape. Then again on Sean Falyon’s project. I fucks with him, I then saw him live for the first time a couple weeks ago at the B.o.B concert. He killed his set! I like his flow, Im from South Florida so ive always been into artists that got the real southern accent such as Playboy Tre, BIG K.R.I.T., Sean P (youngbloodz), Yelawolf, etc. Anywhom, I enjoyed this tape, I actually played it twice before writing this review. A couple of my faves are “I Dont Care”, “2 be or not 2 Be”, “What The Fuck is Up”, “Higher”, & “We Are The Robots”. The whole tape has a good selection of beats, he has chosen some dope features as well such as Mistah FAB & B.o.B but not alot so he doesnt overpower himself. On this project he has some songs that are those type of songs you ride out too, then he’s got some that are on a more personal level & paint a picture. Having differentiation in a mixtape is important to me. Tre also throws some funny ass skits in there that had me rollin! aha! I think this is a pretty good project we got here, and Tre is definetly going to get a bit more shine now that he’s touring with B.o.B and fans can see him live! After the jump I have wrote a little comment for each song. (more…)
